This Privacy Policy explains how Andrew Fogliato, operating through Just Sell Homes Inc. ("I", "me", "my"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit andrewfogliato.com or get in touch through it. What information I collect
- Information you give me directly. When you fill out the contact form, I collect your name, email address, and whatever details you choose to share about your event or inquiry.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, standard analytics and server logs collect things like your approximate location, IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you found the site.
- Cookies and similar technologies. The site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how visitors use the site. See "Managing cookies" below.
Why I collect it
I collect personal information for a limited set of purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry, discuss your event, and provide the speaking, consulting, or REM-related services you're asking about.
- To understand how the site is used so I can improve it.
- To meet legal or regulatory obligations.
I only collect what I need for these purposes. I don't sell your personal information, and I won't use it for an unrelated purpose without your consent.
Consent
By submitting the contact form or using the site, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@justsellhomes.com, subject to legal or contractual limits and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may mean I'm unable to respond to your inquiry.
How your information is shared
I don't sell or rent your personal information. I share it only:
- With the service providers who help operate the site and handle inquiries (listed below), and only as much as they need to do that work.
- Where required by law, such as a valid legal request, or to protect rights and safety.
Service providers I use
The site relies on a few trusted third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:
- Netlify hosts the website and processes the contact form. Form submissions are delivered to my email through Netlify. See Netlify's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics measures website usage. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts, which means Google may receive your IP address when fonts load.
- YouTube hosts a video embedded on some pages. It only loads when you click play, at which point YouTube and Google may set cookies.
Where your information is processed
Some of these providers (including Netlify and Google) store and process data on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. When information is handled in another country, it may be accessible to that country's courts, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities under their laws. By using the site, you acknowledge this cross-border transfer.
How long I keep it
I keep contact-form inquiries for as long as I need them to respond and, where relevant, to manage our working relationship, after which they're deleted. Analytics data is retained according to my Google Analytics settings. I don't keep personal information longer than necessary for the purposes described here.
How your information is protected
The site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and I use reputable providers that maintain their own security measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access.
Your right to access and correct your information
You have the right to ask what personal information I hold about you, to request a copy, and to ask me to correct anything that's inaccurate or out of date. Email hello@justsellhomes.com and I'll respond within a reasonable time. I may need to verify your identity before sharing information.
Managing cookies and opting out
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies won't stop you from using the site.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for real estate professionals and event organizers. It isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites (such as Real Estate Magazine and Just Sell Homes). I'm not responsible for the privacy practices of sites I don't operate, so please review their own policies.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The "effective date" at the top shows when it last changed, and any material changes will be posted on this page.
